Karen Bailey joined the Grace Place staff in January, 2010. With a love for children and a passion for them to come into a personal relationship with Jesus, Karen is committed to the children and families of Grace Place. 

For the prior 26 years, Karen and her family have been a part of the First Church of God - Journey Pointe - in Murfreesboro, TN.  There she served in a variety of capacities, including Director of the Day Care, Director of Christian Education, Council Chair, and most recently, Children's Pastor.  In addition, she serves in TN Ministries of the Church of God as administrative assistant in the State Office, as well as providing leadership on the Congregational Ministries Team, youth camps and the Children's Fall Retreat.

Karen is a 1983 graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  She has been married to husband Bruce since 1983, and they have four children: Laura (Mrs. Rusty Graves) of Exeter, CA; David, a graduate of Moody Bible Institute; Brian, a sophomore at MTSU; and Caleb, a student at Siegel High School in Murfreesboro.
